Dan
6:1-28
1
It
pleased
Darius
to
set
over
the
kingdom
an
hundred
and
twenty
princes,
which
should
be
over
the
whole
kingdom;
2
And
over
these
three
presidents;
of
whom
Daniel
was
first:
that
the
princes
might
give
accounts
unto
them,
and
the
king
should
have
no
damage.
3
Then
this
Daniel
was
preferred
above
the
presidents
and
princes,
because
an
excellent
spirit
was
in
him;
and
the
king
thought
to
set
him
over
the
whole
realm.
4
Then
the
presidents
and
princes
sought
to
find
occasion
against
Daniel
concerning
the
kingdom;
but
they
could
find
none
occasion
nor
fault;
forasmuch
as
he
was
faithful,
neither
was
there
any
error
or
fault
found
in
him.
5
Then
said
these
men,
We
shall
not
find
any
occasion
against
this
Daniel,
except
we
find
it
against
him
concerning
the
law
of
his
God.
6
Then
these
presidents
and
princes
assembled
together
to
the
king,
and
said
thus
unto
him,
King
Darius,
live
for
ever.
7
All
the
presidents
of
the
kingdom,
the
governors,
and
the
princes,
the
counsellors,
and
the
captains,
have
consulted
together
to
establish
a
royal
statute,
and
to
make
a
firm
decree,
that
whosoever
shall
ask
a
petition
of
any
God
or
man
for
thirty
days,
save
of
thee,
O
king,
he
shall
be
cast
into
the
den
of
lions.
8
Now,
O
king,
establish
the
decree,
and
sign
the
writing,
that
it
be
not
changed,
according
to
the
law
of
the
Medes
and
Persians,
which
altereth
not.
9
Wherefore
king
Darius
signed
the
writing
and
the
decree.
10
Now
when
Daniel
knew
that
the
writing
was
signed,
he
went
into
his
house;
and
his
windows
being
open
in
his
chamber
toward
Jerusalem,
he
kneeled
upon
his
knees
three
times
a
day,
and
prayed,
and
gave
thanks
before
his
God,
as
he
did
aforetime.
11
Then
these
men
assembled,
and
found
Daniel
praying
and
making
supplication
before
his
God.
12
Then
they
came
near,
and
spake
before
the
king
concerning
the
king's
decree;
Hast
thou
not
signed
a
decree,
that
every
man
that
shall
ask
a
petition
of
any
God
or
man
within
thirty
days,
save
of
thee,
O
king,
shall
be
cast
into
the
den
of
lions?
The
king
answered
and
said,
The
thing
is
true,
according
to
the
law
of
the
Medes
and
Persians,
which
altereth
not.
13
Then
answered
they
and
said
before
the
king,
That
Daniel,
which
is
of
the
children
of
the
captivity
of
Judah,
regardeth
not
thee,
O
king,
nor
the
decree
that
thou
hast
signed,
but
maketh
his
petition
three
times
a
day.
14
Then
the
king,
when
he
heard
these
words,
was
sore
displeased
with
himself,
and
set
his
heart
on
Daniel
to
deliver
him:
and
he
laboured
till
the
going
down
of
the
sun
to
deliver
him.
15
Then
these
men
assembled
unto
the
king,
and
said
unto
the
king,
Know,
O
king,
that
the
law
of
the
Medes
and
Persians
is,
That
no
decree
nor
statute
which
the
king
establisheth
may
be
changed.
16
Then
the
king
commanded,
and
they
brought
Daniel,
and
cast
him
into
the
den
of
lions.
Now
the
king
spake
and
said
unto
Daniel,
Thy
God
whom
thou
servest
continually,
he
will
deliver
thee.
17
And
a
stone
was
brought,
and
laid
upon
the
mouth
of
the
den;
and
the
king
sealed
it
with
his
own
signet,
and
with
the
signet
of
his
lords;
that
the
purpose
might
not
be
changed
concerning
Daniel.
18
Then
the
king
went
to
his
palace,
and
passed
the
night
fasting:
neither
were
instruments
of
musick
brought
before
him:
and
his
sleep
went
from
him.
19
Then
the
king
arose
very
early
in
the
morning,
and
went
in
haste
unto
the
den
of
lions.
20
And
when
he
came
to
the
den,
he
cried
with
a
lamentable
voice
unto
Daniel:
and
the
king
spake
and
said
to
Daniel,
O
Daniel,
servant
of
the
living
God,
is
thy
God,
whom
thou
servest
continually,
able
to
deliver
thee
from
the
lions?
21
Then
said
Daniel
unto
the
king,
O
king,
live
for
ever.
22
My
God
hath
sent
his
angel,
and
hath
shut
the
lions'
mouths,
that
they
have
not
hurt
me:
forasmuch
as
before
him
innocency
was
found
in
me;
and
also
before
thee,
O
king,
have
I
done
no
hurt.
23
Then
was
the
king
exceeding
glad
for
him,
and
commanded
that
they
should
take
Daniel
up
out
of
the
den.
So
Daniel
was
taken
up
out
of
the
den,
and
no
manner
of
hurt
was
found
upon
him,
because
he
believed
in
his
God.
24
And
the
king
commanded,
and
they
brought
those
men
which
had
accused
Daniel,
and
they
cast
them
into
the
den
of
lions,
them,
their
children,
and
their
wives;
and
the
lions
had
the
mastery
of
them,
and
brake
all
their
bones
in
pieces
or
ever
they
came
at
the
bottom
of
the
den.
25
Then
king
Darius
wrote
unto
all
people,
nations,
and
languages,
that
dwell
in
all
the
earth;
Peace
be
multiplied
unto
you.
26
I
make
a
decree,
That
in
every
dominion
of
my
kingdom
men
tremble
and
fear
before
the
God
of
Daniel:
for
he
is
the
living
God,
and
stedfast
for
ever,
and
his
kingdom
that
which
shall
not
be
destroyed,
and
his
dominion
shall
be
even
unto
the
end.
27
He
delivereth
and
rescueth,
and
he
worketh
signs
and
wonders
in
heaven
and
in
earth,
who
hath
delivered
Daniel
from
the
power
of
the
lions.
28
So
this
Daniel
prospered
in
the
reign
of
Darius,
and
in
the
reign
of
Cyrus
the
Persian.
(KJV)
"It
pleased
Darius
to
set
over
the
kingdom
an
hundred
and
twenty
princes,
which
should
be
over
the
whole
kingdom;"
The
name
"Darius"
is
actually
a
title
(an
office),
which
means
"lord".
In
this,
we
can
see
another
'type'
for
the
spurious
'lord'
(Jesus/King/Savior/God),
Satan.
And,
thereby,
see
the
'kingdom'
(government/religion,
which
is
of
his
spurious
theocracy)
of
which
he
will
have
his
fallen
angels
"set
up".
Does
this
number
"an
hundred
and
twenty"
ring
a
bell?
"to
set
over
the
kingdom
an
hundred
and
twenty
princes,
which
should
be
over
the
whole
kingdom"
Let
us
look
at
this
number
"an
hundred
and
twenty".
The
number
"an
hundred
and
twenty",
as
applied
to
persons/people,
speaks
of
a
'divinely
appointed
number
during
a
period
of
waiting'.
It
is
a
factor
in
the
number
of
those
who
returned
from
Babylon:
42,360...120
x
353.
"The
whole
congregation
together
was
forty
and
two
thousand
three
hundred
and
threescore,"
Ezra
2:64
and
Nehemiah
7:66
(KJV)
It
is
also
a
factor
of
the
number
of
the
men
who
went
up
out
of
Egypt:
600,000...120
x
5000.
"And
the
children
of
Israel
journeyed
from
Rameses
to
Succoth,
about
six
hundred
thousand
on
foot
that
were
men,
beside
children.
And
a
mixed
multitude
went
up
also
with
them;
and
flocks,
and
herds,
even
very
much
cattle.
And
they
baked
unleavened
cakes
of
the
dough
which
they
brought
forth
out
of
Egypt,
for
it
was
not
leavened;
because
they
were
thrust
out
of
Egypt,
and
could
not
tarry,
neither
had
they
prepared
for
themselves
any
victual."
Exodus
12:37-39
(KJV)
And,
it
is
also
a
factor
of
the
144,000,
who
will
be
sealed
from
the
'Twelve
Tribes
of
Israel'
during
the
great
tribulation:
144,000...120
x
1200.
"And
I
heard
the
number
of
them
which
were
sealed:
and
there
were
sealed
an
hundred
and
forty
and
four
thousand
of
all
the
tribes
of
the
children
of
Israel."
Revelations
7:4
(KJV)
"And
over
these
three
presidents;
of
whom
Daniel
was
first:
that
the
princes
might
give
accounts
unto
them,
and
the
king
should
have
no
damage."
"and
the
king
should
have
no
damage"
The
word
"damage"
was
originally
written
as
naaziq,
and
is
from
the
Aramaic
word
#5142,
nezaq:
5142
nezaq
(Aramaic)
(nez-ak');
corresponding
to
the
root
of
5143;
to
suffer
(causatively,
inflict)
loss:
KJV--
have
(en-)
damage,
hurt
(-ful).
5143
nezeq
(nay'zek);
from
an
unused
root
meaning
to
injure;
loss:
KJV--
damage.
[Strong's]
5142
nezaq
(Aramaic)-
to
suffer
injury
a)
(P'al)
to
suffer
injury
b)
(Aphel)
to
injure
5143
nezeq-
an
injury,
damage
[Brown-Driver-Briggs'
]
Now
let
us
discern
this.
There
were
"three
presidents"
and
"an
hundred
and
twenty
princes".
That
is
to
say,
that
there
was
'one'
of
these
"presidents"
for
every
'40'
"princes".
Now,
what
do
we
know
concerning
the
number
"three",
specifically
in
the
1st
Heaven
age?
A
'third'
of
YHVH'S
Creation
remained
or
returned
to
YHVH,
their
CREATOR.
A
'third'
of
YHVH'S
Creation
aligned
themselves
to
follow
Satan.
And,
a
'third'
of
YHVH'S
Creation
refused
to
support
neither
of
these,
but
only
desired
what
they
could
get,
without
having
to
work
for
it.
"Then
this
Daniel
was
preferred
above
the
presidents
and
princes,
because
an
excellent
spirit
was
in
him;
and
the
king
thought
to
set
him
over
the
whole
realm."
Daniel
was
a
prophet,
a
servant
unto
YHVH,
and
the
people
knew
that
he
had
been
greatly
blessed
with
knowledge,
understanding,
and
had
been
given
the
gift
of
prophecy,
when
FATHER
had
need
for
him
to
prophesy.
What
happens
when
one
earthly
flesh
man
is
raised
in
status
over
and
above
other
earthly
flesh
men?
'Jealousy'
begins
to
grow
in
those
who
are
not
of
YHVH.
A
goodly
servant,
unto
YHVH,
trusts
YHVH,
Our
FATHER,
to
send
those
servants
HE
has
deemed
able
and
willing
to
lead
HIS
children.
But,
those,
who
do
not
have
YHVH
foremost
in
their
minds,
will
allow
jealousy
and
their
own
vanity
(pride
in
themselves)
to
cause
conflict.
This
is
the
spirit
of
evil,
Satan...not
of
YHVH.
"Then
the
presidents
and
princes
sought
to
find
occasion
against
Daniel
concerning
the
kingdom;
but
they
could
find
none
occasion
nor
fault;
forasmuch
as
he
was
faithful,
neither
was
there
any
error
or
fault
found
in
him."
"Then
said
these
men,
We
shall
not
find
any
occasion
against
this
Daniel,
except
we
find
it
against
him
concerning
the
law
of
his
God."
YHVH'S
goodly
servants/prophets,
in
these
end
times,
shall
be
as
Daniel,
"they
could
find
none
occasion
nor
fault;
forasmuch
as
he
was
faithful,
neither
was
there
any
error
or
fault
found
in
him".
YHVH'S
servants
know
YHVH'S
Truth.
Satan
knows
YHVH'S
Truth.
Satan's
government
of
disguised
fallen
angels
also
know
YHVH'S
Truth.
And,
they
make
use
of
the
Truth's,
but
not
for
YHVH,
but
to
benefit
themselves
and
Satan.
What
shall
be
the
one
thing
that
YHVH'S
servants
will
refuse
to
do?
They
will
refuse
to
bow
to
and
serve
the
"image"
of
the
"beast",
which
will
be
"set
up"...
the
'one
world'
government
that
Satan's
disguised
fallen
angels
shall
use
to
gather
all
the
people
unto
their
spurious
'Jesus/King/Savior/God'.
And,
this
is
exactly
what
those
in
Daniel's
time
did.
"Then
these
presidents
and
princes
assembled
together
to
the
king,
and
said
thus
unto
him,
King
Darius,
live
for
ever.
All
the
presidents
of
the
kingdom,
the
governors,
and
the
princes,
the
counsellors,
and
the
captains,
have
consulted
together
to
establish
a
royal
statute,
and
to
make
a
firm
decree,
that
whosoever
shall
ask
a
petition
of
any
God
or
man
for
thirty
days,
save
of
thee,
O
king,
he
shall
be
cast
into
the
den
of
lions.
Now,
O
king,
establish
the
decree,
and
sign
the
writing,
that
it
be
not
changed,
according
to
the
law
of
the
Medes
and
Persians,
which
altereth
not.
Wherefore
king
Darius
signed
the
writing
and
the
decree."
"Now
when
Daniel
knew
that
the
writing
was
signed,
he
went
into
his
house;
and
his
windows
being
open
in
his
chamber
toward
Jerusalem,
he
kneeled
upon
his
knees
three
times
a
day,
and
prayed,
and
gave
thanks
before
his
God,
as
he
did
aforetime."
Now,
did
Daniel
go
out
in
public
and
begin
shouting
that
this
"king"
("Darius"
a
title,
an
office,
which
means
"lord")
was
a
fake?
No,
he
"went
into
his
house",
and
there
he
prayed
privately
to
YHVH.
Luke
12:58
58
When
thou
goest
with
thine
adversary
to
the
magistrate,
as
thou
art
in
the
way,
give
diligence
that
thou
mayest
be
delivered
from
him;
lest
he
hale
thee
to
the
judge,
and
the
judge
deliver
thee
to
the
officer,
and
the
officer
cast
thee
into
prison.

Amos
5:13

Matt
5:25

thee
to
the
judge,
and
the

deliver
thee
to

and
thou
be
cast
into
prison.
(KJV)
"Then
these
men
assembled,
and
found
Daniel
praying
and
making
supplication
before
his
God."
Again,
these
are
not
simply
ordinary
men,
but
those
who
have
power,
whether
it
be
earthly
power
or
power
such
as
have
the
fallen
angels.
The
word
"assembled"
means
a
lot
more
than
the
English
translation
brought
forth.
"assembled"
7284
regash
(Aramaic)
(reg-ash');
corresponding
to
7283;
to
gather
tumultuously:
KJV--

7283
ragash

a
primitive
root;

7284
regash

Theological

of
the
Old
Testament:
to
conspire,
to
plot
Now
it
is
pointed
out
that
Daniel
was
praying
and
making
supplication
unto
"his
God".
Because
Daniel
was
witnessed
by
these,
who
were
plotting
against
him,
as
he
was
"praying
and
making
supplication
before
his
God",
he
was,
in
essence,
breaking
the
"law"
which
had
been
"set
up",
established,
and
decreed.
Again,
what
was
that
"law"?
"All
the
presidents
of
the
kingdom,
the
governors,
and
the
princes,
the
counsellors,
and
the
captains,
have
consulted
together
to
establish
a
royal
statute,
and
to
make
a
firm
decree,
that
whosoever
shall
ask
a
petition
of
any
God
or
man
for
thirty
days,
save
of
thee,
O
king,
he
shall
be
cast
into
the
den
of
lions."
What
is
YHVH'S
1st
commandment?
Exod
20:2-3
2
I
am
the
LORD
thy
God,
which
have
brought
thee
out
of
the
land
of
Egypt,
out
of
the
house
of
bondage.
3
Thou
shalt
have
no
other
gods
before
me.
(KJV)
And,
HIS
2nd
commandment?
Exod
20:4-6
4
Thou
shalt
not
make
unto
thee
any
graven
image,
or
any
likeness
of
any
thing
that
is
in
heaven
above,
or
that
is
in
the

or
that
is

5
Thou
shalt
not
bow
down
thyself
to
them,
nor
serve
them:
for
I
the
LORD
thy
God
am
a
jealous
God,
visiting
the
iniquity
of
the
fathers
upon
the
children
unto
the
third
and
fourth
generation
of
them
that
hate
me;
6
And
shewing
mercy
unto
thousands
of
them
that
love
me,
and
keep
my
commandments.
(KJV)
Daniel
did
that
which
he
had
need
to
do,
under
this
bondage,
short
of
breaking
one
of
YHVH'S
commandments.
These
"presidents
of
the
kingdom,
the
governors,
and
the
princes,
the
counsellors,
and
the
captains"
were
attempting
to
rid
themselves
of
Daniel.
But,
as
YHVH'S
servants
know,
YHVH,
Our
FATHER,
is
in
charge,
in
control.
And,
it
is
really
of
no
consequence
as
to
what
these
men
had
devised
against
Daniel,
or
what
they
shall
have
devised
against
YHVH'S
servants
in
these
end
times....
Our
FATHER,
YHVH,
will
be
victorious
over
all
that
is
of
Satan
and
evil.
Now,
you
all
can
read
the
remaining
verses
in
Daniel
6.
But,
understand,
in
the
end
days,
Satan
will
be
the
"king"
of
this
'one
world
beast',
and
not
an
earthly
flesh
man.
We
know
that
no
harm
can
come
upon
YHVH'S
servants
in
the
time
of
the
great
apostasy.
There
is
no
law
of
man
or
beast
which
can
pull
us
from
YHVH,
Our
FATHER.
Eccl
3:1-8
1
To
every
thing
there
is
a
season,
and
a
time
to
every
purpose
under
the
heaven:
2
A
time
to
be
born,
and
a
time
to
die;
a
time
to
plant,
and
a
time
to
pluck
up
that
which
is
planted;
3
A
time
to
kill,
and
a
time
to
heal;
a
time
to
break
down,
and
a
time
to
build
up;
4
A
time
to
weep,
and
a
time
to
laugh;
a
time
to
mourn,
and
a
time
to
dance;
5
A
time
to
cast
away
stones,
and
a
time
to
gather
stones
together;
a
time
to
embrace,
and
a
time
to
refrain
from
embracing;
6
A
time
to
get,
and
a
time
to
lose;
a
time
to
keep,
and
a
time
to
cast
away;
7
A
time
to
rend,
and
a
time
to
sew;
a
time
to
keep
silence,
and
a
time
to
speak;
8
A
time
to
love,
and
a
time
to
hate;
a
time
of
war,
and
a
time
of
peace.
(KJV)
YHVH'S
time
is
perfect.
Luke
12:1-59
1
In
the
mean
time,
when
there
were
gathered
together
an
innumerable
multitude
of
people,
insomuch
that
they
trode
one
upon
another,
he
began
to
say
unto
his
disciples
first
of
all,
Beware
ye
of
the
leaven
of
the
Pharisees,
which
is
hypocrisy.
2
For
there
is
nothing
covered,
that
shall
not
be
revealed;
neither
hid,
that
shall
not
be
known.
3
Therefore
whatsoever
ye
have
spoken
in
darkness
shall
be
heard
in
the
light;
and
that
which
ye
have
spoken
in
the
ear
in
closets
shall
be
proclaimed
upon
the
housetops.
4
And
I
say
unto
you
my
friends,
Be
not
afraid
of
them
that
kill
the
body,
and
after
that
have
no
more
that
they
can
do.
5
But
I
will
forewarn
you
whom
ye
shall
fear:
Fear
him,
which
after
he
hath
killed
hath
power
to
cast
into
hell;
yea,
I
say
unto
you,
Fear
him.
6
Are
not
five
sparrows
sold
for
two
farthings,
and
not
one
of
them
is
forgotten
before
God?
7
But
even
the
very
hairs
of
your
head
are
all
numbered.
Fear
not
therefore:
ye
are
of
more
value
than
many
sparrows.
8
Also
I
say
unto
you,
Whosoever
shall
confess
me
before
men,
him
shall
the
Son
of
man
also
confess
before
the
angels
of
God:
9
But
he
that
denieth
me
before
men
shall
be
denied
before
the
angels
of
God.
10
And
whosoever
shall
speak
a
word
against
the
Son
of
man,
it
shall
be
forgiven
him:
but
unto
him
that
blasphemeth
against
the
Holy
Ghost
it
shall
not
be
forgiven.
11
And
when
they
bring
you
unto
the
synagogues,
and
unto
magistrates,
and
powers,
take
ye
no
thought
how
or
what
thing
ye
shall
answer,
or
what
ye
shall
say:
12
For
the
Holy
Ghost
shall
teach
you
in
the
same
hour
what
ye
ought
to
say.
13
And
one
of
the
company
said
unto
him,
Master,
speak
to
my
brother,
that
he
divide
the
inheritance
with
me.
14
And
he
said
unto
him,
Man,
who
made
me
a
judge
or
a
divider
over
you?
15
And
he
said
unto
them,
Take
heed,
and
beware
of
covetousness:
for
a
man's
life
consisteth
not
in
the
abundance
of
the
things
which
he
possesseth.
16
And
he
spake
a
parable
unto
them,
saying,
The
ground
of
a
certain
rich
man
brought
forth
plentifully:
17
And
he
thought
within
himself,
saying,
What
shall
I
do,
because
I
have
no
room
where
to
bestow
my
fruits?
18
And
he
said,
This
will
I
do:
I
will
pull
down
my
barns,
and
build
greater;
and
there
will
I
bestow
all
my
fruits
and
my
goods.
19
And
I
will
say
to
my
soul,
Soul,
thou
hast
much
goods
laid
up
for
many
years;
take
thine
ease,
eat,
drink,
and
be
merry.
20
But
God
said
unto
him,
Thou
fool,
this
night
thy
soul
shall
be
required
of
thee:
then
whose
shall
those
things
be,
which
thou
hast
provided?
21
So
is
he
that
layeth
up
treasure
for
himself,
and
is
not
rich
toward
God.
22
And
he
said
unto
his
disciples,
Therefore
I
say
unto
you,
Take
no
thought
for
your
life,
what
ye
shall
eat;
neither
for
the
body,
what
ye
shall
put
on.
23
The
life
is
more
than
meat,
and
the
body
is
more
than
raiment.
24
Consider
the
ravens:
for
they
neither
sow
nor
reap;
which
neither
have
storehouse
nor
barn;
and
God
feedeth
them:
how
much
more
are
ye
better
than
the
fowls?
25
And
which
of
you
with
taking
thought
can
add
to
his
stature
one
cubit?
26
If
ye
then
be
not
able
to
do
that
thing
which
is
least,
why
take
ye
thought
for
the
rest?
27
Consider
the
lilies
how
they
grow:
they
toil
not,
they
spin
not;
and
yet
I
say
unto
you,
that
Solomon
in
all
his
glory
was
not
arrayed
like
one
of
these.
28
If
then
God
so
clothe
the
grass,
which
is
to
day
in
the
field,
and
to
morrow
is
cast
into
the
oven;
how
much
more
will
he
clothe
you,
O
ye
of
little
faith?
29
And
seek
not
ye
what
ye
shall
eat,
or
what
ye
shall
drink,
neither
be
ye
of
doubtful
mind.
30
For
all
these
things
do
the
nations
of
the
world
seek
after:
and
your
Father
knoweth
that
ye
have
need
of
these
things.
31
But
rather
seek
ye
the
kingdom
of
God;
and
all
these
things
shall
be
added
unto
you.
32
Fear
not,
little
flock;
for
it
is
your
Father's
good
pleasure
to
give
you
the
kingdom.
33
Sell
that
ye
have,
and
give
alms;
provide
yourselves
bags
which
wax
not
old,
a
treasure
in
the
heavens
that
faileth
not,
where
no
thief
approacheth,
neither
moth
corrupteth.
34
For
where
your
treasure
is,
there
will
your
heart
be
also.
35
Let
your
loins
be
girded
about,
and
your
lights
burning;
36
And
ye
yourselves
like
unto
men
that
wait
for
their
lord,
when
he
will
return
from
the
wedding;
that
when
he
cometh
and
knocketh,
they
may
open
unto
him
immediately.
37
Blessed
are
those
servants,
whom
the
lord
when
he
cometh
shall
find
watching:
verily
I
say
unto
you,
that
he
shall
gird
himself,
and
make
them
to
sit
down
to
meat,
and
will
come
forth
and
serve
them.
38
And
if
he
shall
come
in
the
second
watch,
or
come
in
the
third
watch,
and
find
them
so,
blessed
are
those
servants.
39
And
this
know,
that
if
the
goodman
of
the
house
had
known
what
hour
the
thief
would
come,
he
would
have
watched,
and
not
have
suffered
his
house
to
be
broken
through.
40
Be
ye
therefore
ready
also:
for
the
Son
of
man
cometh
at
an
hour
when
ye
think
not.
41
Then
Peter
said
unto
him,
Lord,
speakest
thou
this
parable
unto
us,
or
even
to
all?
42
And
the
Lord
said,
Who
then
is
that
faithful
and
wise
steward,
whom
his
lord
shall
make
ruler
over
his
household,
to
give
them
their
portion
of
meat
in
due
season?
43
Blessed
is
that
servant,
whom
his
lord
when
he
cometh
shall
find
so
doing.
44
Of
a
truth
I
say
unto
you,
that
he
will
make
him
ruler
over
all
that
he
hath.
45
But
and
if
that
servant
say
in
his
heart,
My
lord
delayeth
his
coming;
and
shall
begin
to
beat
the
menservants
and
maidens,
and
to
eat
and
drink,
and
to
be
drunken;
46
The
lord
of
that
servant
will
come
in
a
day
when
he
looketh
not
for
him,
and
at
an
hour
when
he
is
not
aware,
and
will
cut
him
in
sunder,
and
will
appoint
him
his
portion
with
the
unbelievers.
47
And
that
servant,
which
knew
his
lord's
will,
and
prepared
not
himself,
neither
did
according
to
his
will,
shall
be
beaten
with
many
stripes.
48
But
he
that
knew
not,
and
did
commit
things
worthy
of
stripes,
shall
be
beaten
with
few
stripes.
For
unto
whomsoever
much
is
given,
of
him
shall
be
much
required:
and
to
whom
men
have
committed
much,
of
him
they
will
ask
the
more.
49
I
am
come
to
send
fire
on
the
earth;
and
what
will
I,
if
it
be
already
kindled?
50
But
I
have
a
baptism
to
be
baptized
with;
and
how
am
I
straitened
till
it
be
accomplished!
51
Suppose
ye
that
I
am
come
to
give
peace
on
earth?
I
tell
you,
Nay;
but
rather
division:
52
For
from
henceforth
there
shall
be
five
in
one
house
divided,
three
against
two,
and
two
against
three.
53
The
father
shall
be
divided
against
the
son,
and
the
son
against
the
father;
the
mother
against
the
daughter,
and
the
daughter
against
the
mother;
the
mother
in
law
against
her
daughter
in
law,
and
the
daughter
in
law
against
her
mother
in
law.
54
And
he
said
also
to
the
people,
When
ye
see
a
cloud
rise
out
of
the
west,
straightway
ye
say,
There
cometh
a
shower;
and
so
it
is.
55
And
when
ye
see
the
south
wind
blow,
ye
say,
There
will
be
heat;
and
it
cometh
to
pass.
56
Ye
hypocrites,
ye
can
discern
the
face
of
the
sky
and
of
the
earth;
but
how
is
it
that
ye
do
not
discern
this
time?
57
Yea,
and
why
even
of
yourselves
judge
ye
not
what
is
right?
58
When
thou
goest
with
thine
adversary
to
the
magistrate,
as
thou
art
in
the
way,
give
diligence
that
thou
mayest
be
delivered
from
him;
lest
he
hale
thee
to
the
judge,
and
the
judge
deliver
thee
to
the
officer,
and
the
officer
cast
thee
into
prison.
59
I
tell
thee,
thou
shalt
not
depart
thence,
till
thou
hast
paid
the
very
last
mite.
