St
Matthew
Chapter
20:
Is
this
speaking
of
freewill
in
a
way?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These
men each freely chose
to work
for
a penny.
Matt
20:1-16
1
For
the
kingdom
of
heaven
is
like
unto
a
man
that
is
an
householder,
which
went
out
early
in
the
morning
to
hire
labourers
into
his
vineyard.
2
And
when
he
had
agreed
with
the
labourers
for
a
penny
a
day,
he
sent
them
into
his
vineyard.
3
And
he
went
out
about
the
third
hour,
and
saw
others
standing
idle
in
the
marketplace,
4
And
said
unto
them;
Go
ye
also
into
the
vineyard,
and
whatsoever
is
right
I
will
give
you.
And
they
went
their
way.
5
Again
he
went
out
about
the
sixth
and
ninth
hour,
and
did
likewise.
6
And
about
the
eleventh
hour
he
went
out,
and
found
others
standing
idle,
and
saith
unto
them,
Why
stand
ye
here
all
the
day
idle?
7
They
say
unto
him,
Because
no
man
hath
hired
us.
He
saith
unto
them,
Go
ye
also
into
the
vineyard;
and
whatsoever
is
right,
that
shall
ye
receive.
8
So
when
even
was
come,
the
lord
of
the
vineyard
saith
unto
his
steward,
Call
the
labourers,
and
give
them
their
hire,
beginning
from
the
last
unto
the
first.
9
And
when
they
came
that
were
hired
about
the
eleventh
hour,
they
received
every
man
a
penny.
10
But
when
the
first
came,
they
supposed
that
they
should
have
received
more;
and
they
likewise
received
every
man
a
penny.
11
And
when
they
had
received
it,
they
murmured
against
the
goodman
of
the
house,
12
Saying,
These
last
have
wrought
but
one
hour,
and
thou
hast
made
them
equal
unto
us,
which
have
borne
the
burden
and
heat
of
the
day.
13
But
he
answered
one
of
them,
and
said,
Friend,
I
do
thee
no
wrong:
didst
not
thou
agree
with
me
for
a
penny?
14
Take
that
thine
is,
and
go
thy
way:
I
will
give
unto
this
last,
even
as
unto
thee.
15
Is
it
not
lawful
for
me
to
do
what
I
will
with
mine
own?
Is
thine
eye
evil,
because
I
am
good?
16
So
the
last
shall
be
first,
and
the
first
last:
for
many
be
called,
but
few
chosen.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Yes,
this
does
refer,
in
part,
to
those
who
had
freewill
at
the
time
they
were
called.
FATHER
sought
out
those
who
were
idle
(in
the
world),
and
offered
them
jobs
in
HIS
Vineyard
(working
for
HIM).
HE
made
a
covenant
(contract)
with
them.
And,
this
contract
stipulated
the
earnings
that
each
would
receive
'IF'
they
did
do
the
work
they
were
hired
to
do.
In
the
parable,
each
would
receive
the
price
of
10
asses
(a
penny)
for
their
labor
in
HIS
Vineyard.
The
essence
of
the
parable
speaks
as
such....
You
agree
to
work
for
YHVH
for
however
long
a
period
of
time,
no
matter
when
you
(individually)
entered
into
your
contract
with
HIM,
and
you
will
receive
the
same
reward
as
everyone
else
who
worked
for
HIM.
This
contracted
amount
is
'one
size
fits
all',
so
to
speak.
In
other
words,
the
one
who
has
contracted
to
work
for
YHVH
can
not
be
increased
or
lessened
in
his
reward
for
this
particular
task.
But,
some
of
these
who
worked
for
HIM
the
longest
became
vain,
and
desired
to
be
elevated
in
their
wages (elevated
status)
because
they
had
worked
longer
than
others.
This
is
sin.
And,
although
they
earned
that
for
which
they
had
contracted,
they
would
have
a
black
mark
in
FATHER'S
Book
until
they
repented
of
these
sins
and
acknowledged
the
error
of
their
way.
FATHER'S
contract
with
all
these
workers
HE
'called
forth'
was
the
same.
Each
would
earn
the
same,
no
matter
how
much
time
they
had
put
in.
After
the
'calling
forth',
FATHER
watched
these
as
they
worked.
And,
at
the
end
of
the
day,
HE
gave
unto
each
the
same
contracted
amount.
What
did
FATHER
discern
about
those
HE
had
called
forth?
Individually,
FATHER
looked
at
those
workers.
Did
they
joyfully
do
HIS
Work?
Did
each
do
the
best
they
were
able?
Were
some
being
disruptive
or
destructive
while
working
in
HIS
Vineyard?
Did
these
use
Wisdom
as
they
worked?
Did
they
ask
for
instruction
when
they
did
not
know
how
to
do
a
certain
task
in
the
vineyard?
Did
any
of
them
begin
working,
but
before
the
day
was
over,
quit?
And,
if
they
quit,
was
it
because
they
were
lured
away
by
another
one
promising
greater
rewards?
If
they
quit
was
it
because
of
laziness
or
because
they
decided
to
go
play
or
do
something
else?
Those
who
chose
to
quit
would
not
be
there
at
the
time
that
the
'paychecks'
were
given
out,
so
they
received
no
pay,
because
they
had
broken
the
contract.
Did
vanity
and
self-pride
creep
into
the
minds
of
some?
Did
some
think
they
were
more
worthy
because
they
had
worked
longer?
All
of
these
things
and
more,
FATHER
discerned
about
those
whom
HE
had
'called
forth'.
After
YHVH
has
'called
one
forth',
HE
determines
that
which
they
do.
And,
those
who
are
fit,
HE
'chooses',
and
allows
them
to
continue
working
for
HIM.
These
then
have
the
opportunity
to
earn
more...their
acts/works
after
this
point
would
add
unto
their
righteous
robes
they
shall
wear.
Those
who
are
not
'chosen'
receive
only
that
which
they
contracted
to
receive.
These
things
occurred
in
the
1st
Heaven
age,
and
will
be
completed
again
in
this
earth
age.
Those
HE
chose
in
the
1st
Heaven
age,
would
be
of
the
last
generation
in
this
earth
age.
Those
chosen
in
this
earth
(flesh)
dispensation,
shall
be
first
in
YAHSHUA'S
KINGDOM
in
The
LORD'S
DAY.
The
others,
not
chosen,
shall
have
to
work
for
the
good
of
YHVH/YAHSHUA
while
on
the
wrong
side
of
the
gulf,
in
order
to
show
forth
that
they
are
worthy
to
be
chosen
to
continue
living
and
enter
into
the
Eternity.
