Hag
1:1-15
1
In
the
second
year
of
Darius
the
king,
in
the
sixth
month,
in
the
first
day
of
the
month,
came
the
word
of
the
LORD
by Haggai
the
prophet
unto
Zerubbabel
the
son
of
Shealtiel,
governor
of
Judah,
and
to
Joshua
the
son
of
Josedech,
the
high priest,
saying,
This
date
"the
sixth
month,
in
the
first
day
of
the
month"
is
approximately
August
21st.
Who
is
Haggai?
Haggai
means
"festive";
10th
in
order
of
the
minor
prophets;
first
prophet
to
prophesy
after
the
captivity.
Who
is
Zerubbabel?
Zerubbabel
means
"sown
in
Babylon";
the
grandson
of
king
Jehoiachin
and
leader
of
the
first
group
of
returning
exiles
from Babylon.
"Babylon"
is
the
name
from
which
we
get
our
English
word
'babble'
which
means
'confusion'.
Therefore,
this
word
"Zerubbabel"
can
refer
to
'born
in
confusion'.
Zerubbabel
was
the
governor
(political)
of
Judah.
Judah
is
one
of
the
12
tribes
of
Israel.
Who
is
Joshua?
Joshua
means
"YHVH
is
salvation";
the
first
High
Priest
(religion)
after
the
return.
The
prophet,
Haggai,
was
sent
by
YHVH
to
speak
HIS
Word
unto
the
heads
of
the
government
and
the
religion.
2
Thus
speaketh
the
LORD
of
hosts,
saying,
This
people
say,
The
time
is
not
come,
the
time
that
the
LORD's
house
should
be
built.
What
were
the
people
saying?
"The
time
is
not
come,
the
time
that
the
LORD's
house
should
be
built."
In
other
words,
they
were
saying
that
they
did
not
have
to
get
ready
yet,
because
they
had
plenty
of
time.
3
Then
came
the
word
of
the
LORD
by
Haggai
the
prophet,
saying,
4
Is
it
time
for
you,
O
ye,
to
dwell
in
your
ceiled
houses,
and
this
house
lie
waste?
FATHER
says
to
the
people,
through
HIS
prophet
Haggai:
'So,
you
think
you
have
time
to
lie
around
in
your
fancy
houses
(churches
and
residences)
of
man
while
MY
HOUSE
(HIS
Church
and
Habitation/presence
in
the
earth)
is
left
to
become
spiritually
dry?'
5
Now
therefore
thus
saith
the
LORD
of
hosts;
Consider
your
ways.
HE
is
saying,
'If
this
is
your
mindset,
then
you
had
best
look
deeply
into
your
hearts
(minds)
concerning
your
behavior
and
walk.'.
6
Ye
have
sown
much,
and
bring
in
little;
ye
eat,
but
ye
have
not
enough;
ye
drink,
but
ye
are
not
filled
with
drink;
ye
clothe
you,
but
there
is
none
warm;
and
he
that
earneth
wages
earneth
wages
to
put
it
into
a
bag
with
holes.
"Ye
have
sown
much,
and
bring
in
little"
'You
may
plant
a
great
deal,
but
you
will
not
harvest
much.'
When
we
take
this
to
the
spiritual
level,
we
can
see
that
if
these
seeds
were
goodly
seeds
of
FATHER'S
Truth,
the
harvest
would
be
great.
But,
these
seeds
from
the
traditions
of
man
can
be
planted
in
abundance,
but
it
will
not
produce
much
or
much
of
anything that
shall
live.
"ye
eat,
but
ye
have
not
enough"
'Sure,
you
go
to
the
traditions
of
man
houses
and
are
fed,
but
it
is
not
enough,
and
is
not
filling
(fulfilling).'
"ye
drink,
but
ye
are
not
filled
with
drink"
'Sure,
you
drink
the
water
of
men,
but
it
is
not
the
living
water
of
FATHER'S
Word,
by
which
one
shall
never
thirst
again.'
"ye
clothe
you,
but
there
is
none
warm"
'Sure,
you're
dressed
in
man's
finest,
but
they
are
as
filthy
rags.
Only
by
earning
the
righteous
robes,
the
Covering
of
CHRIST, will
you
be
kept
warm
and
living.'
"and
he
that
earneth
wages
earneth
wages
to
put
it
into
a
bag
with
holes"
'Everything
you
earn
will
slip
away.
Your
blessings
from
our
FATHER
fall
upon
the
ground,
lost,
through
your
deteriorating sackcloth.
Spiritually
and
literally,
your
hard
earned
money/riches/blessings
will
slip
away.'
What
did
YAHSHUA
teach
us
concerning
these
things?
Matt
25:31-46
31
When
the
Son
of
man
shall
come
in
his
glory,
and
all
the
holy
angels
with
him,
then
shall
he
sit
upon
the
throne
of
his
glory:
32
And
before
him
shall
be
gathered
all
nations:
and
he
shall
separate
them
one
from
another,
as
a
shepherd
divideth
his
sheep from
the
goats:
33
And
he
shall
set
the
sheep
on
his
right
hand,
but
the
goats
on
the
left.
34
Then
shall
the
King
say
unto
them
on
his
right
hand,
Come,
ye
blessed
of
my
Father,
inherit
the
kingdom
prepared
for
you from
the
foundation
of
the
world:
35
For
I
was
an
hungred,
and
ye
gave
me
meat:
I
was
thirsty,
and
ye
gave
me
drink:
I
was
a
stranger,
and
ye
took
me
in:
36
Naked,
and
ye
clothed
me:
I
was
sick,
and
ye
visited
me:
I
was
in
prison,
and
ye
came
unto
me.
37
Then
shall
the
righteous
answer
him,
saying,
Lord,
when
saw
we
thee
an
hungred,
and
fed
thee?
or
thirsty,
and
gave
thee drink?
38
When
saw
we
thee
a
stranger,
and
took
thee
in?
or
naked,
and
clothed
thee?
39
Or
when
saw
we
thee
sick,
or
in
prison,
and
came
unto
thee?
40
And
the
King
shall
answer
and
say
unto
them,
Verily
I
say
unto
you,
Inasmuch
as
ye
have
done
it
unto
one
of
the
least
of these
my
brethren,
ye
have
done
it
unto
me.
41
Then
shall
he
say
also
unto
them
on
the
left
hand,
Depart
from
me,
ye
cursed,
into
everlasting
fire,
prepared
for
the
devil and
his
angels:
42
For
I
was
an
hungred,
and
ye
gave
me
no
meat:
I
was
thirsty,
and
ye
gave
me
no
drink:
43
I
was
a
stranger,
and
ye
took
me
not
in:
naked,
and
ye
clothed
me
not:
sick,
and
in
prison,
and
ye
visited
me
not.
44
Then
shall
they
also
answer
him,
saying,
Lord,
when
saw
we
thee
an
hungred,
or
athirst,
or
a
stranger,
or
naked,
or
sick,
or in
prison,
and
did
not
minister
unto
thee?
45
Then
shall
he
answer
them,
saying,
Verily
I
say
unto
you,
Inasmuch
as
ye
did
it
not
to
one
of
the
least
of
these,
ye
did
it
not to
me.
46
And
these
shall
go
away
into
everlasting
punishment:
but
the
righteous
into
life
eternal.
(KJV)
Hag
1:
7
Thus
saith
the
LORD
of
hosts;
Consider
your
ways.
Again,
FATHER
says
'look
into
your
hearts...are
you
doing
what
is
right
and
good?'
8
Go
up
to
the
mountain,
and
bring
wood,
and
build
the
house;
and
I
will
take
pleasure
in
it,
and
I
will
be
glorified,
saith
the LORD.
"Go
up
to
the
mountain"
What
is
a
"mountain"?
It
is
a
nation
of
people.
"and
bring
wood"
What
is
"wood"?
The
word
"wood"
is
the
same
Hebrew
word
for
"tree".
Mark
8:24
And
he
looked
up,
and
said,
I
see
men
as
trees,
walking.
Now,
what
is
FATHER'S
HOUSE?
The
assemblage
(nation)
of
HIS
children
(people)
gathered
together
and
brought
into
HIS
Truth
is
HIS
HOUSE
of
which
HE speaks.
HIS
HOUSE
built,
HIS
children
working
together
in
HIS
House,
makes
HIM
happy.
9
Ye
looked
for
much,
and,
lo,
it
came
to
little;
and
when
ye
brought
it
home,
I
did
blow
upon
it.
Why?
saith
the
LORD
of hosts.
Because
of
mine
house
that
is
waste,
and
ye
run
every
man
unto
his
own
house.
But,
as
long
as
HIS
House
remains
unbuilt,
and
as
long
as
the
people
continue
in
their
fancy
houses
of
the
traditions
of
man,
HE
will
not
bless
these
people.
The
people
think
they
will
have
a
lot,
but
it
comes
to
very
little.
They
think
they
are
doing
right
by
going
to
their
houses
of
man,
but
what
do
they
take
with
them
from
these
traditions
of
man churches?
Very
little.
In
fact,
most
can
not
remember
what,
if
anything,
of
what
they
were
taught
in
their
services
five
minutes after
leaving.
They
think
that
there
was
a
fire
lit
in
their
minds
with
all
the
shoutings
of
"Amen",
"Alleluia",
and
"Praise
the Lord".
They
think
the
fire
is
aglow
with
all
the
money
that
they
witnessed
being
dropped
into
their
collection
plates.
But,
FATHER
shall
"blow
upon"
all
this
wood
until
their
fire
shall
burn
itself
up
into
nothingness.
What
then
are
they
left
with?
Having
been
taught
the
traditions
of
man,
they
go
home
with
nothing.
Having
tithed
to
these
houses
of
man,
their
money counts
for
kindling
that
shall
burn
and
dry
up
their
blessings.
10
Therefore
the
heaven
over
you
is
stayed
from
dew,
and
the
earth
is
stayed
from
her
fruit.
As
long
as
these
continue
in
their
"cieled
houses",
and
refuse
to
build
and
come
into
FATHER'S
House,
HE
will
keep
the
"dew"
from
Heaven
(which
is
needed
to
cause
sprouting
and
growth)
from
these
spiritually
dry
people
and their
houses.
They
shall
bring
forth
no
fruit,
because
their
trees
are
dried
and
withered.
11
And
I
called
for
a
drought
upon
the
land,
and
upon
the
mountains,
and
upon
the
corn,
and
upon
the
new
wine,
and
upon the
oil,
and
upon
that
which
the
ground
bringeth
forth,
and
upon
men,
and
upon
cattle,
and
upon
all
the
labour
of
the
hands.
FATHER,
therefore,
proclaims
a
"drought".
There
is
a
drought
in
the
land
for
YAHOVAH'S
Truth.
This
drought
is
upon
the
whole
earth
(land),
upon
the
nations
and
governments
(mountains);
upon
the
fruit
(corn,
which includes
wheat
and
other
grains);
upon
the
unripened,
unfermented
wine,
which
is
not
fit
to
represent
YAHSHUA'S
Salvation through
HIS
blood.
There
is
also
a
drought
upon
the
oil,
which
is
for
anointing,
therefore
the
people
shall
not
be
anointed
or healed;
upon
all
that
comes
forth
from
the
ground;
upon
8th
day
man
and
upon
the
6th
day
creation,
who
are
or
will
become spiritually
dry,
and
a
drought
upon
every
work
of
their
hands.
12
Then
Zerubbabel
the
son
of
Shealtiel,
and
Joshua
the
son
of
Josedech,
the
high
priest,
with
all
the
remnant
of
the
people, obeyed
the
voice
of
the
LORD
their
God,
and
the
words
of
Haggai
the
prophet,
as
the
LORD
their
God
had
sent
him,
and
the people
did
fear
before
the
LORD.
Now,
what
did
FATHER
allow
to
occur
to
get
these
people
to
listen
up
and
take
heed?
Now,
there
is
no
evil
in
our
FATHER.
FATHER
will
never
leave
nor
forsake
those
who
love
HIM
and
try
to
follow
HIS
Way.
But,
those
who
have
left
HIM
and
HIS
House,
have
chosen
by
their
actions
and
ways
not
to
accept
HIS
protection.
And,
HE
allows
those
that
are
evil
to
try
them.
13
Then
spake
Haggai
the
LORD's
messenger
in
the
LORD's
message
unto
the
people,
saying,
I
am
with
you,
saith
the
LORD.
Those
who
are
with/in
HIM,
HE
has
said,
"I
am
with
you".
14
And
the
LORD
stirred
up
the
spirit
of
Zerubbabel
the
son
of
Shealtiel,
governor
of
Judah,
and
the
spirit
of
Joshua
the
son of
Josedech,
the
high
priest,
and
the
spirit
of
all
the
remnant
of
the
people;
and
they
came
and
did
work
in
the
house
of
the LORD
of
hosts,
their
God,
15
In
the
four
and
twentieth
day
of
the
sixth
month,
in
the
second
year
of
Darius
the
king.
(KJV)
When
was
this
that
the
people
began
to
come
to
understand
and
begin
obeying?
"In
the
four
and
twentieth
day
of
the
sixth
month"
is
approximately
September
13th.
What
occurred
to
awaken
their
spirits?
