The word "
glorify" refers to 'illustriously making known' the Name and Word of YAHSHUA / YHVH.
One may glorify the Name of Our FATHER in song, in words spoken, and in actions through works.

2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

To who is YAHSHUA referring?
"
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
YHVH gave unto YAHSHUA'S care those who were to be redeemed from the earth...HIS Government, 144,000 Elect.
(YAHSHUA is speaking in the 3rd person, referring to HIMSELF as "
he" and "him".)

4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

"
I have glorified thee on the earth:
YAHSHUA had made known YHVH'S Name and Word of Truth upon the earth.
"
I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
What is "
the work" HE has completed, perfected, and accomplished?
HIS work was to call out all who would heed the call. HE was to teach those who were chosen, elected from the earth.
HE was to prepare these so that they could take the Gospel unto others.

And, it shall be at this point in the sequence of events in the final hour that HIS work (those elected) shall be complete, perfected, accomplished. HIS elect shall be vessels made ready.

5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

YAHSHUA'S Name, HIS Works, HIS Truth shall be made known unto the world.

6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

Are you one of those given unto YAHSHUA, "
the men which thou gavest me out of the world"? Are you one who YHVH has given 'eyes to see' and 'ears to hear'?
YHVH, Our FATHER, owns all souls, for HE created each.
So, it follows that "
thine they were", because they were/are YHVH'S children in the flesh and they were given ("and thou gavest them me") unto YAHSHUA through the opening of their spiritual eyes and ears to hear and see The Truth.
There is one other stipulation for those who would be YAHSHUA'S Government 144,000, and that is they have kept YHVH'S Word ("
and they have kept thy word").
There are many in the world who had been given 'eyes to see' and 'ears to hear', but because they could not or would not keep YHVH'S Word, their eyes and ears will be closed.
Many called, few chosen.

7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

These elect, redeemed by grace from this final generation in the flesh, know that YAHSHUA was YHVH in the flesh, and that all of YAHSHUA'S instructions and teachings were from YHVH.

9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

YAHSHUA does make intercessory prayer on behalf of HIS Elect Government. But, HE is not asking intercession in the lives of the rest of the world at this point.

10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

YAHSHUA, HIS Truth, HIS Name, is and shall be made known to all the world through these who are YAHSHUA'S.

11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Although YAHSHUA, HIMSELF, shall not be here on this earth at this particular moment in the sequence of events of the final hour, HIS Elect Government shall be. And, these shall be as one in CHRIST and as one in YHVH.

1 Cor 10:16-17
16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. (KJV)

1 Cor 12:1-31
1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

John 17:
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

The translators did not do a very good job with this verse converting it to the English.

"
While I was with them in the world" reads in the original texts as "While I was with them"..."in the world" was added by man.

"
I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept" should read "in Thy name that Thou gavest Me, and I kept them".

"
have kept" means 'guarded'.

This phrase "
and none of them is lost" is to say 'none of these have been sentenced / condemned to perish'.

"
is lost" is the Greek word 'apollumi', and the Greek for "of perdition" is 'apoleia'.
622 apollumi (ap-ol'-loo-mee);
from 575 and the base of 3639; to destroy fully (reflexively, to perish, or lose), literally or figuratively:
KJV-- destroy, die, lose, mar, perish.
3639 olethros (ol'-eth-ros);
from a primary ollumi (to destroy; a prolonged form); ruin, i.e. death, punishment:
KJV-- destruction.

d) to declare that one must be put to death
e) metaphorically, to devote or give over to the eternal misery in hell
f) to perish, to be lost, to be ruined, to be destroyed
2) to destroy, to lose
3639 olethros-

"
of perdition
684 apoleia (ap-o'-li-a);
from a presumed derivative of 622; ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal):

684 apoleia-
1) destroying, utter destruction;

b) to render useless
c) to kill
d) to declare that one must be put to death

Please note the name "
Apollyon", and compare the words "is lost" the Greek word 'apollumi', and the Greek for "of perdition" 'apoleia'.

Rev 9:11
11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. (KJV)

"
Apollyon
623 Apolluon (ap-ol-loo'-ohn);
active participle of 622; a destroyer (i.e. Satan):
KJV-- Apollyon.

3639 olethros (ol'-eth-ros);
from a primary ollumi (to destroy; a prolonged form); ruin, i.e. death, punishment:

Now, let us look at this verse as it was intended:

'While I was with them... in Thy name that Thou gavest Me, and I kept [guarded] them...none of these have been sentenced/condemned to perish...except for Satan, the son condemned to perish....that the scripture might be fulfilled.

"
in Thy name that Thou gavest Me
What Name was YAHSHUA given by YHVH?
YAHSHUA is that 'office' of YHVH, who FATHER sent in HIS Name, to those in the flesh. YAHSHUA is our advocate, our Protector, and the MESSIAH. HE is The Son of Man.

Son of Man-- The title Son of Man was Jesus' favorite way of referring to Himself. He may have done this because this was not a recognized title already known by the people and associated with popular ideas. This title means essentially "The Man." But as Jesus used it, it took on new significance.
Jesus applied this title to Himself in three distinct ways:
First, He used the title in a general way, almost as a substitute for the pronoun "I." A good example of this usage occurred in the saying where Jesus contrasted John the Baptist, who "came neither eating bread nor drinking wine," with the Son of Man, who "has come eating and drinking" <Luke 7:33-34>. Another probable example is the statement that "the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head" <Luke 9:58>. In this instance He warned a would-be disciple that those who wanted to follow Him must expect to share His homeless existence.
Second, Jesus used the title to emphasize that "the Son of Man must suffer" <Mark 8:31>. The word must implies that His suffering was foretold by the prophets. It was, indeed, "written concerning the Son of Man, that He must suffer many things and be treated with contempt" <Mark 9:12>. So when Jesus announced the presence of the betrayer at the Last Supper, He declared, "The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him" <Mark 14:21>. Later on the same evening He submitted to His captors with the words, "The Scriptures must be fulfilled" <Mark 14:49>.
Finally, Jesus used the title Son of Man to refer to Himself as the one who exercised exceptional authority-- authority delegated to Him by God. "The Son of Man has power [authority] on earth to forgive sins" <Mark 2:10>, He declared. He exercised this authority in a way that made some people criticize Him for acting with the authority of God: "The Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath" <Mark 2:28>.
The Son of Man appeared to speak and act in these cases as the representative man. If God had given man dominion over all the works of His hands, then He who was the Son of Man in this special representative sense was in a position to exercise that dominion.
Near the end of His ministry, Jesus spoke of His authority as the Son of Man at the end of time. Men and women "will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory," He declared <Mark 13:26>. He also stated to the high priest and other members of the supreme court of Israel: "You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven" <Mark 14:62>. He seemed deserted and humiliated as He stood there awaiting their verdict. But the tables would be turned when they saw Him vindicated by God as Ruler and Judge of all the world.
Only once in the Gospels was Jesus referred to as the Son of Man by anyone other than Himself. This occurred when Stephen, condemned by the Jewish SANHEDRIN, saw "the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God" <Acts 7:56>. In Stephen's vision the Son of Man stood as his heavenly advocate, in fulfillment of Jesus' words: "Whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God" <Luke 12:8>.

John 17:
13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

"
And now come I to thee

"
come I" is the Greek word 'erchomai'.
2064 erchomai (er'-khom-ahee);
middle voice of a primary verb (used only in the present and imperfect tenses, the others being supplied by a kindred [middle voice] eleuthomai (el-yoo'-thom-ahee); or [active] eltho (el'-tho); which do not otherwise occur); to come or go (in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively):
KJV-- accompany, appear, bring, come, enter, fall out, go, grow, X light, X next, pass, resort, be set.
(Strong's)

2064 erchomai-
1) to come; used of persons:
1) to come from one place to another, and used both of persons arriving
2) to appear, make one's appearance, to come before the public
2) metaphorically:
a) to come into being, to arise, to come forth, to show itself, to find place or influence
b) to be established, to become known, to come (fall) into or unto
3) to go, to follow one
(Thayer's)

The Green's Interlinear shows this verse as one thought in one sentence.
It does not include the semicolon as shown above. The semicolon was used to make this verse into two thoughts in a compound sentence.
So, let's look at this as the Green's Interlinear gives it.
"And now come I to thee and these things I speak in the world that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

YAHSHUA is speaking unto YHVH.
And, HE is saying unto YHVH, The FATHER, 'Now I come before the world establishing Your Name and Glory, YHVH FATHER, and by establishing Your Name and Glory, FATHER, in the world, that these people (Elect, chosen ones) might also have the calm delight, feelings of well-being, and joyfulness within themselves.'

John 17:
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Again, there is no semicolon used in this verse in the Green's Interlinear.
"I have given them thy word and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world."

Let's look at this.
"
I have given them thy word and the world hath hated them
"
thy word" conveys as 'Thy Word of Truth'
"
hath hated" refers not only to 'hath detested' or 'love less' but especially and particularly 'to persecute'.

Why?
"
because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
This 'kosmos' (earthly dimensional age) is mostly influenced/controlled by Satan, the 'prince of the air'.
But, YHVH'S servants are not partakers of the ways of the 'Kosmos' under Satan's influence/control, just as YAHSHUA  is not.

John 17:
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

"
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world
YHVH'S servants shall not be taken out of the world/kosmos at this point. Therefore, HIS servants shall not be killed.
And, FATHER is not going to 'rapture' HIS servants out of here, for they have tasks to complete for HIM.
But YAHSHUA makes a petition unto YHVH on behalf of these servants/friends: "
but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil".

"
shouldest keep" is the Greek word 'tereo'.
5083 tereo (tay-reh'-o);
from teros (a watch; perhaps akin to 2334); to guard (from loss or injury, properly, by keeping the eye upon; and thus differing from 5442, which is properly to prevent escaping; and from 2892, which implies a fortress or full military lines of apparatus),
i.e. to note (a prophecy; figuratively, to fulfil a command); by implication, to detain (in custody; figuratively, to maintain); by
extension, to withhold (for personal ends; figuratively, to keep unmarried); by extension, to withhold (for personal ends;
figuratively, to keep unmarried):
KJV-- hold fast, keep (-er), (pre-, re-) serve, watch.

to attend to carefully, to take care of
a) to guard
b) metaphorically, to keep, one in the state in which he is
c) to observe
d) to reserve: to undergo something

Does the definition of the word 'tereo' ("
shouldest keep") cause you to think about another word?
Does the word "
sealed" come to mind?

Rev 7:4
4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. (KJV)

"

impressed (as a mark of privacy, or genuineness), literally or figuratively:
KJV-- seal.
5420 phrasso (fras'-so);
apparently a strengthening form of the base of 5424; to fence or inclose, i.e. (specifically) to block up (figuratively, to silence):
KJV-- stop.
5424 phren (frane);
probably from an obsolete phrao (to rein in or curb; compare 5420); the midrif (as a partition of the body), i.e. (figuratively
and by implication, of sympathy) the feelings (or sensitive nature; by extension [also in the plural] the mind or cognitive
faculties):

John 17:
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

YAHSHUA is still speaking to YHVH on behalf of HIS servants/friends, the 144,000 Elect.
And, for emphasis HE repeats that which HE stated in verse 14, thereby making it emphatic.
"
I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
"
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world" is also repeated from John 15:19: "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

John 17:
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Because these are "
are not of the world, even as I am not of the world", YAHSHUA petitions Our FATHER to "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth".

What does "
Sanctify" mean?

"

How are these sanctified? Through YHVH'S Truth, which is The Word, they shall be sanctified.
And, the Word was made flesh in YAHSHUA. And by the blood of The Lamb, The Word, these are made clean.

18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

HIS servants/friends are not of the world, but were/will be sent to those who are of this world.
Why?...to teach those who are 'in and of the world' (those living carnal lives without true understanding of YHVH'S Truth), to carry forth YHVH'S Truth...HIS Word unto the people of the world.

19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

YAHSHUA (YHVH in the flesh) was and is morally and spiritually clean, because HE is The Word.
And, because HE is sanctified, and is sanctified for the sake of HIS Elect of Grace, HIS petition to the FATHER is that those HE sends forth be also sanctified by The Word of Truth...the Word being made flesh...YAHSHUA, JESUS CHRIST.

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

But, not only does YAHSHUA petition FATHER to sanctify HIS Governmental 144,000 Elect, but also all who shall believe YHVH'S Truth which shall be brought forth through HIS servants/friends.

21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

This "
That they all may be one" should bring to mind the phrase "one accord". Let's go to the book of Acts.

Acts 1:1-14
1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. (KJV)

Acts 2:1-4
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (KJV)

Acts 2:37-47
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (KJV)

Acts 4:1-37
1 And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
3 And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.

4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
5 And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,
6 And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.
7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.
22 For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.
23 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.
24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
25 Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?
26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,
37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet. (KJV)

John 17:
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

The word "
glory" speaks of 'honor'. This is YHVH'S Glory / Honor. And, HIS Glory and Honor are HIS Word.
Thereby, through HIS Word, YHVH'S servants/YAHSHUA'S friends are sanctified and carry forth YHVH'S Honorable, Glorious Name. We are known by YAHSHUA'S Name...Christian...CHRIST-man.

YHVH, THE FATHER and YAHSHUA, THE SON are One.
HIS servants and friends are 'One' in HIM.

Rom 12:1-21
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. (KJV)

John 17:
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

Before the foundation of this earth age (dispensation of the flesh), YHVH'S Divine Plan was to send that 'Office' of HIMSELF into the flesh. And, YAHSHUA became the One True, Fit Sacrifice for all times.

YAHSHUA speaks in this manner so that man in the flesh can comprehend that HE is of the FATHER, and The FATHER is in HIM.

25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

Those who are 'of this world' (those living carnal lives without true understanding of YHVH'S Truth) have not and still do not comprehend nor accept YHVH as their FATHER.
But, YAHSHUA and HIS servants/friends acknowledge and understand that YAHSHUA is YHVH in the flesh sent to teach, call the world out to repentance, and become the One True, Fit Sacrifice for all times.

26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. (KJV)

YAHSHUA has made such an awesome petition unto Our FATHER for our sakes.
How can we ever thank HIM enough?

"
that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

John 13:34-35
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.  (KJV)
