Nahum
1:11-15
11 There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against
the LORD, a
wicked counsellor.
12 Thus saith the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise
many, yet thus
shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I
have afflicted
thee, I will afflict thee no more.
13 For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst
thy bonds in
sunder.
14 And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that
no more
of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut
off the graven
image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou
art vile.
15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth
good tidings, that
publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy
vows: for
the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut
off. (KJV)
Let us look for at the history of that which happened to
Nineveh.
"There is one come
out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a
wicked counsellor."
In the history of Nineveh, this "wicked
counsellor" was
Senacherib of
Assyria (705 BC - 681 BC), the son of Sargon II (The captor of
Samaria).
Yet, there is no new thing under the sun... therefore, even in
this last
generations there are those who give 'wicked counsel', which
is to say they counsel the people to do that which is evil and
that which is worthless.
"Thus saith the
LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many"
Why would anyone counsel their people to do worthless, inane
acts?
Well, we see it every day, as those who have great power in
the earth, while
appearing friendly to all, and while promoting "peace,
peace", {even in
the
face of the fact that there shall be no true "peace"
until The Messiah
comes}, encourage and lead "many"
peoples to do these things which are
against YHVH.
Satan is the ultimate "wicked
counsellor". And,
even before he and his fallen
angels are in the sight of earthly flesh men, their evil
spirits are hard at work
influencing the minds of many men.
"yet thus shall
they be cut down, when he shall pass through."
Senacherib of Assyria (705 BC - 681 BC), the son of Sargon II
(The captor of
Samaria) was "cut
down" for YHVH had
him 'removed' quickly.
"Though I have
afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more."
This speaks of YHVH'S dealing with the children of Israel who
were living in
the earthly flesh at this time.
Though he had permitted the Assyrian force to chasten Israel,
"I will afflict
thee no more".
Who allowed Israel to be "afflicted"
by Senacherib of Assyria?
"Though I have
afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more."
YHVH did.
Why?
Because YHVH'S children were not doing as they should,
according to
YHVH'S Word, Way, and Law.
What had the tribes of Israel done that was so bad that they
deserved to be
"afflicted"?
YHVH chastised Israel, HE brought them low so that they could
once again
become humble.
And, YHVH made use of HIS enemies to put Israel back on the
right track.
"For now will I
break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in
sunder. And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee,
that no
more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I
cut off the
graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for
thou art vile."
Who is "vile"?
Those like unto Senacherib of Assyria, who had put the people
into bondage.
And, all who willingly did as this ruler, Senacherib of
Assyria, had them do.
YHVH, Our FATHER, will remove the bonds from those who love
HIM and do
HIS Will.
Through The Truth of YHVH'S HOLY Word and Law, HE will set us
free.
YHVH commanded, at that time, "that
no more of thy name be sown":
"out of the house
of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten
image", "I
will make thy grave; for thou art vile."
To whom shall YHVH be addressing in this last generation of
the earthly
flesh?
To whom shall HE say, "that
no more of thy name be sown"
"out of the house
of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten
image", "I
will make thy grave; for thou art vile"?
"Behold upon the
mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that
publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy
vows: for
the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut
off."
In that generation, these promises of YHVH were fulfilled, as
Judah (true
Judah) did as FATHER would have them do.
But, again, there is no new thing under the sun ...,
therefore, in this last
generation, Israel (including Judah) must experience these
types of events
again.

1Thes 5:1-28
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need
that I write
unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so
cometh as a thief
in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden
destruction
cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they
shall not
escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should
overtake you as
a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the
day: we are not of
the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch
and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be
drunken are
drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the
breastplate of faith
and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain
salvation by our Lord
Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should
live together
with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one
another, even as
also ye do.
12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour
among you,
and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's
sake. And be at
peace among yourselves.
14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly,
comfort the
feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever
follow that
which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
16 Rejoice evermore.
17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in
Christ Jesus
concerning you.
19 Quench not the Spirit.
20 Despise not prophesyings.
21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray
God your
whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the
coming of
our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
25 Brethren, pray for us.
26 Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.
27 I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all
the holy
brethren.
28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. (KJV)
May FATHER bless "all the children of light".
