Zech
10:1-12
1
Ask
ye
of
the
LORD
rain
in
the
time
of
the
latter
rain;
so
the
LORD
shall
make
bright
clouds,
and
give
them showers
of
rain,
to
every
one
grass
in
the
field.
"Ask
ye
of
the
LORD
rain
in
the
time
of
the
latter
rain"
What
does
this
say?
"Ask
",
for
we
must
request
this
latter
rain.
[See: James
5 study]
Zech
10:
2
For
the
idols
have
spoken
vanity,
and
the
diviners
have
seen
a
lie,
and
have
told
false
dreams;
they
comfort
in vain:
therefore
they
went
their
way
as
a
flock,
they
were
troubled,
because
there
was
no
shepherd.
Who
or
what
are
these
"idols"?
These
are
images
of
false
'gods'.
And,
anything
can
become
an
'idol'
if
it
is
placed
higher
than
YHVH
in
one's mind.
But,
there
is
one
specific
'idol
/
image'
which
shall
become
looked
to
by
most
of
the
world,
and
that
shall
be Satan's
'one
world'
government/religion,
which
shall
be
set
up
in
the
earth
in
the
sight
of
flesh
men.
[See: Ten
Toes study]
[See: Revelations
12
'Beast' study]
"and
the
diviners
have
seen
a
lie"
The
false
prophets
envisioned
evil
and
prophesied
falsehoods.
"and
have
told
false
dreams"
They
have
spoken
of
their
evil
dreams,
declaring
that
these
dreams
be
revelations
given
to
them
of
God.
"they
comfort
in
vain"
Their
compassion
is
not
of
YAHSHUA,
The
Comforter,
but
out
of
their
own
vanity.
"therefore
they
went
their
way
as
a
flock"
Therefore,
the
children
(under
these
false
shepherds/prophets)
have
pulled
away
from
YHVH/YAHSHUA,
because
their
false
shepherds
who
have
presented
HIM
as
something
HE
is
not.
"they
were
troubled,
because
there
was
no
shepherd."
And,
they
became
depressed
(losing
their
faith)
because
they
had
no
true
shepherd
to
guide
and
watch
over them.
Zech
10:
3
Mine
anger
was
kindled
against
the
shepherds,
and
I
punished
the
goats:
for
the
LORD
of
hosts
hath
visited
his flock
the
house
of
Judah,
and
hath
made
them
as
his
goodly
horse
in
the
battle.
YHVH'S
anger
shall
be
kindled
(likened
unto
stoking
a
fire)
against
these
false
shepherds.
[This
was
spoken emphatically!]
"and
I
punished
the
goats"
was
also
emphatic!
Goats
often
grazed
with
sheep
in
mixed
flocks.
Unlike
their
gentle
and
helpless
cousins,
goats
were
independent,
willful,
and
curious.
Bible
writers
sometimes
used
goats
to
symbolize
irresponsible
leadership
<Jer.
50:8;
Zech.
10:3>.
In
Jesus'
parable
of
the
Great
Judgment
<Matt.
25:32-33>,
the
goats
represented
the unrighteous
who
could
not
enter
His
kingdom.

"for
the

hath
visited
his

the
house
of
Judah"
YHVH
has
appointed
"the
house
of
Judah"
for
a
specific
purpose.
Please
note
that
this
does
not
yet
speak
of
the
other
tribes
of
Israel
in
this
verse.
"and
hath
made
them
as
his
goodly
horse
in
the
battle."
And,
HE
has
appointed
them
to
be
the
'ways
and
means'
by
which
HIS
War
shall
be
carried
forth.
Zech
10:

out

him
the

out

him
every

Out
of
Judah
came
every

Out
of
Judah
came
"every
oppressor
together."
Let
us
look
at
this
word
"oppressor".

Zech
10:
5
And
they
shall
be
as
mighty
men,
which
tread
down
their
enemies
in
the
mire
of
the
streets
in
the
battle:
and they
shall
fight,
because
the
LORD
is
with
them,
and
the
riders
on
horses
shall
be
confounded.
And,
this
house
of
Judah
shall
be
so
strong
and
valiant
that
they
can
be
likened
unto
the
gibbor
in
strength
and bravery.
And,
they
shall
trample
down
YHVH'S
enemies.
But,
they
are
only
strong,
valiant,
and
brave
because
YHVH/YAHSHUA,
HIS
HOLY
SPIRIT,
shall
be
with
them.
And,
the
"the
riders
on
horses
shall
be
confounded".
Who
are
these
"riders
on
horses"?
This
speaks
of
the
evil
ones,
the
fallen
angels.
It
also
has
reference
to
the
"riders
/
horses"
spoken
of
in Revelations
and
earlier
in
Zechariah.
Zech
10:
6
And
I
will
strengthen
the
house
of
Judah,
and
I
will
save
the
house
of
Joseph,
and
I
will
bring
them
again
to place
them;
for
I
have
mercy
upon
them:
and
they
shall
be
as
though
I
had
not
cast
them
off:
for
I
am
the
LORD their
God,
and
will
hear
them.
"And
I
will
strengthen
the
house
of
Judah"
True
Judah
shall
be
strengthened
(and
separated
from
those
who are
Kenites).
"and
I
will
save
the
house
of
Joseph"
speaks
of
Ephraim
and
Manassah.
Zech
10:
7
And
they
of
Ephraim
shall
be
like
a
mighty
man,
and
their
heart
shall
rejoice
as
through
wine:
yea,
their
children shall
see
it,
and
be
glad;
their
heart
shall
rejoice
in
the
LORD.
The
tribe
of
Ephraim
(double
fruit)
shall
become
brave
and
valiant.
And,
their
hearts/spirits
shall
rejoice
because
of
YAHSHUA'S
Redeeming
blood.
And,
others
of
Ephraim
shall
be
witness
to
that
which
YHVH
shall
do
unto
Ephraim,
and
they
shall
rejoice
in
HIM.
Zech
10:
8
I
will
hiss
for
them,
and
gather
them;
for
I
have
redeemed
them:
and
they
shall
increase
as
they
have increased.
9
And
I
will
sow
them
among
the
people:
and
they
shall
remember
me
in
far
countries;
and
they
shall
live
with their
children,
and
turn
again.
HE
will
whistle
(call
out)
for
Ephraim
and
bring
them
together
with
HIM.
For,
YHVH
shall
deliver
them
out
of
bondage,
having
redeemed
them
through
YAHSHUA,
JESUS
CHRIST.
And,
as
HE
has
scattered
them
all
over
the
world,
these
shall
be
a
witness
unto
others,
facilitating
these
others
to return
to
YHVH/YAHSHUA.
Zech
10:
10
I
will
bring
them
again
also
out
of
the
land
of
Egypt,
and
gather
them
out
of
Assyria;
and
I
will
bring
them
into the
land
of
Gilead
and
Lebanon;
and
place
shall
not
be
found
for
them.
HE
shall
bring
all
these
out
of
the
bondage
of
deception
and
confusion.
HE
shall
take
them
from
Satan's
evil
grasp.
And,
HE
shall
bring
them
to
stand
upon
The
Rock,
making
them
spiritually
clean/white.
And,
HE
will
provide
them
a
place
of
safety
in
HIM.
Zech
10:
11
And
he
shall
pass
through
the
sea
with
affliction,
and
shall
smite
the
waves
in
the
sea,
and
all
the
deeps
of
the river
shall
dry
up:
and
the
pride
of
Assyria
shall
be
brought
down,
and
the
sceptre
of
Egypt
shall
depart
away.
YHVH
shall
bring
about
great
tribulation
upon
those
peoples
who
refuse
to
know,
respect,
love
and
obey
HIM.
HE
will
smite
those
who
caused
the
waters
(peoples)
to
swell
as
waves
in
the
sea.
HE
shall
smite
those
who
have
brought
the
flood
of
the
end
days.
The
pride
of
the
false
'Jesus/king/God'
shall
be
brought
down
and
cast
into
the
pit,
along
with
his
government
of bondage.
Rev
19:20-21
20
And
the
beast
was
taken,
and
with
him
the
false
prophet
that
wrought
miracles
before
him,
with
which
he deceived
them
that
had
received
the
mark
of
the
beast,
and
them
that
worshipped
his
image.
These
both
were cast
alive
into
a
lake
of
fire
burning
with
brimstone.
21
And
the
remnant
were
slain
with
the
sword
of
him
that
sat
upon
the
horse,
which
sword
proceeded
out
of
his mouth:
and
all
the
fowls
were
filled
with
their
flesh.
(KJV)
Zech
10:
12
And
I
will
strengthen
them
in
the
LORD;
and
they
shall
walk
up
and
down
in
his
name,
saith
the
LORD.
(KJV)
Those
who
are
"in
the
LORD"
shall
be
strengthened
by
HIS
HOLY
SPIRIT,
until
this
time
in
the
flesh
is completed.
And,
they
shall
walk
through
all
the
earth
"in
HIS
Name".
And
then,
in
The
LORD'S
DAY,
those
who
are
'in
HIS
Name'
shall
teach
those
who
have
not
yet
overcome.
